The documents below are samples of actual letters of inquiry (LOIs) and
proposals successfully submitted to the King Foundation from 2005 to 2007.
All of these documents are reproduced with the permission of the grant
recipients. The documents have been edited to omit any sensitive or proprietary
information and are presented by funding area.
Please note that the Foundation’s grantmaking guidelines and procedures changed
effective January 1, 2006, so you may see some differences in proposals
submitted before and after that date. The 2006 changes also implemented the LOI
process, so all LOIs date from June 2006 or later.
