KIM D. DAVIS
President

​

Kim joined the Foundation in January 2025. He previously served as Senior Advisor and Delta Region Lead at the Walton Family Foundation, overseeing philanthropic efforts in Arkansas and Mississippi since 2015. A dedicated advocate for underserved communities, Kim has worked to enhance education, afterschool programs, homeownership, and workforce development through collaborative partnerships. Kim earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Saint Thomas and a Master of Education at the University of Saint Thomas. He enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, and hanging out with his dog Oreo.

GWEN BENNETT

Senior Executive Assistant

Gwen joined the Foundation in 2024. She brings a rich background of work experience as an Executive Assistant and office management, with extensive experience in public administration, law, and disability services. She holds an Associate degree, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Public Administration, and Juris Doctor. In her spare time, Gwen is an avid audio book listener, backyard birder, and yoga enthusiast.

AMIE ANDERSON

Grants Administrator

Amie joined the Foundation in 2016.  A Texas native, she followed family to Minnesota where she worked in the Department of Development at Mayo Clinic.  She returned to Texas in 2016.  Amie spends her free time exploring Texas, singing whenever possible with other area musicians, and going on road trips with her husband.

AMANDA S.K. FINNEY, J.D

Sr. Program Officer

Amanda joined the King Foundation in 2018.  Originally from St. Louis, she has lived her adult life in Dallas.   Amanda received a B.A. from St. John’s College in Santa Fe and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.  Professionally, Amanda has practiced family law and raised funding for small to large nonprofit organizations.  She actively volunteers in the community and believes communities are made of the collective stories and voices of each person.

JOYVIN BENTON

Program Officer

Joyvin joined the Foundation in 2024. Originally from Arkansas, she has had the pleasure of living on both coasts.  She returned to Arkansas after completing her doctoral degree in Systems and Public Policy from Rutgers University. Her work experience includes serving as a researcher and evaluator for several federal, state, and local projects, and as a professional fundraiser. As a fundraiser, she was a major gift officer for a college and a director of development for several nonprofits.  She is active in her community and enjoys helping nonprofits build their capacity and expand their impact.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

BRIDGETTE MYERS

Program Associate

Bridgette joined the Foundation in 2026, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement. She has served in executive roles within healthcare and nonprofit organizations, where she led strategic initiatives, built strong donor relationships, and secured major gifts to support organizational growth. Bridgette also works as a nonprofit consultant, helping organizations strengthen their fundraising, marketing, and overall impact. She is passionate about connecting with communities and supporting mission-driven work. In her spare time, she enjoys being involved in community initiatives and spending time with her family.
